9 Hours 9 Persons 9 Doors

999-.9.Hours.9.Persons.9.Doors.full.1027667

So, this game is a game I am very fond of. I discovered it last year and played it during a break in school.  It is by far one of the best games I have ever played. If it’s not evident already, I have played a lot of games so that’s saying something. 999 has one of the best stories I’ve seen so far in a video game. It is incredibly complicated which adds to how amazing this game is. No, it is not so complicated that you won’t want to play it. It is exactly because of how complicated it is that makes you wonder about the masterminds behind this game. How long did it take them to come up with this? Who has such an amazing imagination? Those were common questions that ran through my head when I was playing this game. So, let me introduce some of the basics of 999. No spoilers. I promise. You can feel safe to read the rest of this post. To spoil a game like this is to take away an amazing opportunity and adventure for the gamer.

Who I would recommend this game to: This game is definitely not for children. In terms of horror, it’s really not that terrifying. The worst parts have a lot of blood. That’s about the worst it’ll get. The story itself is a little spooky but this is coming from somebody who scares a little easily. Most of you will probably be fine. I would recommend this game to people who are suckers for a game with an amazing/deep story. This game will definitely deliver. Fans of escape games/puzzle games will enjoy this game as well. Yes, this game is novel-based which means it will have more reading than actual gameplay. I know some people don’t really enjoy the reading but please do not let that deter you from this amazing game. You’ll really be missing out. The puzzles are not difficult although I’ve heard some people say they were. I guess it depends on you. I did not think the game was too easy/too hard. It was just the right amount of difficulty with just a few puzzles that I found more challenging. Also, most reviewers of the game may not mention this but I would recommend that you have a bit of patience with this game. If you want to fully enjoy a game like this, you must have patience. So, it sounds like this game will require a bit of dedication on the player’s part? Yes, that’s absolutely correct. To fully enjoy a game like this, dedication is a must. There is a specific way to play this game in order to get the most out of it. It’s a bit like college. The more you want to get out of it the more you gotta work at it. If you just go to class and then leave right after, you’ll really only be getting the bare minimum out of the experience. Want the most out of the money that you spent for the game? Go the long way through and you won’t regret it. I can’t emphasize this enough! If you would like a mini guide on which doors to go through to get the ultimate experience, contact me through the contact form.

About: If you want to know a little about the game, I’ll write a little here. You play as a college student named Junpei. He walks into his apartment one night and all of sudden finds this mysterious masked being in his room. Before he knows it he wakes up in a sinking ship! That’s where you come in. You gotta help Junpei and his friends escape from a series of rooms while coming closer and closer to unlocking the mystery behind the masked man. My summary doesn’t do  it justice… Sadly, I can’t really say more without ruining anything.

Here is a trailer for the game. There are no spoilers. It is what you see when you first start up the game.

If you need further convincing, I have listed off some ratings given by professional game review sites. Just be aware that they might have spoilers in it.
